Guest of the club was Brent Weaver of Sportsman’s Warehouse in Aurora who thanked everyone who participated in the seminars and kid’s casting event. Brent brought discount cards from Sportsman’s Warehouse for club members.

 

Saturday, August 13^th is the Denver Junior Bassmasters Classic. The location has yet to be determined. Club members who have volunteered to be guides with their boats for the day are Matt Massey, Nark van Heukelom, Curtis Welch, Tom Grace and Bob Bjorklund. The site will be either Horsetooth or the Berthoud Rod & Gun Club.

 

Results for the June Cedar Bluff tournament: 1^st Bob Bjorklund using a Fluke w/split shot, Senko, and ball-head jig w/finesse worm. 2^nd Chris Bedowitz using Brush Hogs on the windy side of laydowns in 7’ water. 3^rd Alex Farkas using black & blue jigs. Big bass Day 1, Lance Tillotson ; Day 2, Chris Bedowitz.

 

July 16^th is the next Youth Event – site TBD

 

The Colorado Federation of Bass Clubs meeting will be held August 20 at McPhee Reservoir. The Federation will vote on a by-law amendment for the date and place of the annual Federation tournament.

 

Web site: www.BassClubDigest.org lists surveys and prize drawings. Lowrance and Luhr-Jensen have discounts for Federation members.
