Results of the June 3 & 4 club tournament at Cedar Bluff were reported:
1) Mark VanElderen, 10 fish, 21.55#,  2)Lance Tillotson, 9 fish, 20.29#,  3)Alex Farkas, 10 fish, 19.33#,  4) Tom Grace, 9 fish, 19.13#,  5) Dave Flemming, 9 fish, 16.06#  Fish were caught on a variety of baits, mostly soft plastics.
 
Tom Grace reminded every one of the June 17th Ft. Carson Kids Military Fishing Day at Pueblo Reservoir. DBM expects a strong showing of volunteer boaters from it's members.
 
Alex Farkas reported on the club's intention to support the Rocky Mountain Arsenal fishing program with habitat projects and a $500 monetary donation and volunteering physical man hours. RMA is reported to allow limited boating in the future.
 
Casey and Curtis Welch reported on the Western Divisionals on the Columbia River where Casey finished 2nd in the state and 4th overall. He missed first in the state by a mere 4 ounces. He also had the big fish of the tourney with a 7.12# largemouth. The Welches were happy to finally have their dream of a father & son on the team in the divisional.
 
The Jr. Bassmasters outing at Swift Ponds in Ft. Collins was its usual success. There was an excellent turnout and the water levels were higher than usual with good fishing reported. The next Jr. event will be June 24 at Donovan's Pond in Brighton (120th & Hwy 85).
 
The CO BASS Federation plans for the next meeting will be on August 20th at Navajo Reservoir on the southwest border of the state. Additionally, there is a proposal to have a tourney consisting of 6 teams of 6 members each with an entry fee of $750 per team. The deadline for entering is July 14th. More discussion at the July meeting.
 
Don Speas nominated Don Watts of Bass Pro Shops as a DBM honorary member and Tom Grace nominated Bob Hix, also of Bass Pro Shops. Both were agreed upon by the club members.
 
Matt Massey was asked to fill the position of Vice President (till year end) following the move of current V.P. Curt Stowers to Belgium. Scott Tracy has been added to the board of directors.
 
Guests and new members were introduced: Josh - a C.U. student and resident of the Republic of Boulder; Tim - also a C.U.student and Republic of Boulder resident; Tim K. of South Dakota; and Adam - new to Denver from Iowa.
