Junior Bassmasters

The Denver Jr. Bassmasters (DJBM) was the first B.A.S.S. Youth club west of the Mississippi and part of a grass roots initiative by Bass Anglers Sportsmans Society (B.A.S.S.) DJBM was created by the Denver Bassmasters (DBM) for the sole purpose of reaching out to Colorado's youth and expose them to bass fishing and the outdoors.

DJBM is open to youth ages 8 to 18. No experience or equipment is required for participation. The focus of the club is simple: learn, catch fish, and have fun in a family oriented setting. DJBM is run solely by the DBM, volunteers, parents, and mentors who want to share time and knowledge with the kids. Hopefully just one thought, one bit of experience shared with the kids will make them better prepared to take on life's challenges.

Dues are $40 for the year, this includes a membership into Colorado Bass Nation (CBN). A limited amount of DJBM scholarships are available for those with financial challenges, contact Curtis Welch.
