The Denver Bassmaster's promote and support opportunities for all boys and girls , between the ages of 8 - 18 ,who have an interest in learning how to fish. The goal of the program is to teach these young anglers skills and techniques while on the water along with lessons in sportsmanship, conservation, and competition.
The youth are split out into two divisions. The Juniors division is for participants between the aged 8 - 14. The High School division if for participants aged 15 - 18. Both divisions will be eligible to fish in all DBM sponsored events, In addition, each division will have separate opportunities to participate in events run by Colorado BASS Nation and B.A.S.S.
DBM sponsored events are hosted on public & private lakes and ponds throughout the Denver Metro area. Most involve fishing from shore but there will be some waters we can launch boats and the adult members of the club will bring their boats to fish from.
Registration for Denver Bassmaster Juniors

Membership annual dues are $50.00
The season is September 1st through August 31st. Due to cold weather conditions, most of our events are April - August
The Junior's age cut off is 14 years old as of September 1st. If the angler is 15 on September 1st, they will be in the High School division

Registration will be required for each event. It will be opened 30-45 days before the event and links provided in emails or posted to this site.

Tightline Outdoors / Denver Bassmasters Juniors Events
There is a tournament series called CATCH RATE held by Tightline Outdoors that is open to all anglers, including our Juniors, High Schoolers, and Parents to fish for cash and prizes. All of the events are held at Chatfield Reservoir in Littleton , CO. There is an entry fee of $20 per angler, per species, to enter. The High School Opens are partner tournaments. You and another angler of your choosing fish as a team. You must fish from a boat, with an adult captain. The team is responsible for securing the boat and captain.
The Junior's state qualifier will be fishing from a boat. Boats and captains will be provided by the Denver Bassmasters. The anglers will be required to wear lifejackets at all times.
In addtion to the requirements of the High School Opens, the High School State qualifier requires affiliation with a B.A.S.S. registered high school in Colorado. If your interested in fishing this tournament, please notify Cliff Purslow to discuss the options.
